I hope you’ve embraced the invitation to choose your
own 2026 focus word. If Wonder resonates with you,
feel free to borrow it. I’m happy to share.

As we wrap up this month’s blog series on Wonder, I’ve
been reflecting on what it truly means to live through its
lens.

How does Wonder show up in our daily lives?

What shifts when we choose it intentionally?

For me, it begins with choosing presence over pressure.
It means practicing the art of being fully here in each
moment, with each person. It means sitting in discomfort
without rushing to distract, and showing up physically
and mentally for the people I love. It means less time on
screens, more time immersed in real life.

It also means choosing play over perfection.

Play for the sake of joy, not achievement. Dance. Sing.
Paint. Draw. Pick up that instrument or hobby that’s
been whispering to you for years. Let yourself be messy
and delighted.

It means choosing authentic connection over isolation.

As an introvert, I know how tempting it is to stay home
and avoid “peopling.” We say we need connection, but it
feels hard. Still, we’re wired for it. I wonder how I might
be more intentional about reaching out this year, about
saying yes to community, even when it feels vulnerable.
And perhaps most courageously, it means choosing
surrender over control.

Keeping our hearts open. Loosening our grip. Trusting
that the Spirit is guiding us, that guardian angels
surround us, that control is mostly an illusion anyway.
This one’s tough, especially for those of us who dance
with anxiety. But I wonder what it would feel like to
surrender just a little more each day.

I love this journey we’re on, friends. We’re learning,
growing, and evolving together. Becoming women of
wonder, curious, courageous, and open to joy.

With you always,
Tami
